Knowledge Graphs as the Foundation for Interoperable Intelligent Systems

Abstract

In this talk, we will discuss several key aspects and tasks of Knowledge Graphs in general and in particular in AI, with their potential and their challenges. Knowledge graphs are at the crossroads of data sciences and artificial intelligence. They can be both data and metadata of our information systems, supporting their urbanism, data stewarding, integration, and governance. Considering examples of applications, we will see that not only are they combined with the latest AI methods, such as language models, but they also support the combination and hybridizing of very different AI methods.
